Description

An arrangement of the children’s song Hickory Dickory Dock for four double basses featuring many special effects including tapping the tailpiece and bridge with the bow, sul pont., glissandi and harmonics.

While Bass 4 plays D above middle C, all the parts are firmly rooted in first position 

Most of the piece is in compound time (6/8) and while the rhythms are not hard, getting slick ensemble can be challenging.
